Kaycee (she/her) is a Director, Producer, Collaborator, and Administrator based out of New England. She comes from Mexican and Polish descent and is a born and raised Texan (she proudly refers to herself as Tex-Mex). She is an alumni of the Humphries School of Musical Theatre, an affiliate of Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS), and she credits this company for giving her a start in "the business." She is a graduate of the Theatre Program at Texas State University. Although her BFA is in acting, she soon found  her true passion to be “behind the table” work through collaboration with the musical theater department on their productions and masterclasses. She continued her education with a summer at Shakespeare’s Globe and the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Post-graduation, Kaycee began working with The National Women's Theatre Festival (NWTF, formally Women's Theatre Festival WTF). In 2020, she served as the WTF Casting Director, where she cast forty-one plays. She has also served as a Director, Producer, Marketing Director, Teaching Artist, and Keynote Moderator alongside esteemed professionals such as KO, Eden Espinosa, Lauren Gunderson, Carson Kreitzer, and many more. Kaycee joined Women's Theatre Festival and Play On Shakespeare as an Associate Producer on OTHELLO. Most notably, Kaycee was a moderator for a special Keynote Conversation with KO and Eden Espinosa about economic transparency and the arts.

In 2020, Kaycee partnered with fellow TXST alum Jeremiah Porter to create JP + KC Productions,  a production company dedicated to producing virtual fundraiser cabarets to amplify voices of marginalized groups. The company released four virtual cabarets, featuring Broadway stars, that raised funds for The Shirley Knight Memorial Fund, The Actors Fund, Black Lives Matter, The National Organization for Women and Georgia Stand Up. Each stream collected over 10,000 views and countless engagements.

In the 2020 election run-offs Kaycee sought out ways to use her artistic voice for change. She had the pleasure of serving on the Arts for Biden Harris team where she produced a series entitled "Let's Talk Latino Vote" with celebrities and political minds such as Cristela Alonzo, Diane Guerrero, Dolores C. Huerta, and Jess Morales Rocketto. At the end of 2020, Kaycee partnered with Creatives 4 Change and Georgia Stand Up to raise funds and support for the Senate runoff races in Georgia.

Kaycee is currently the Special Assistant to the Artistic Director and Executive Team at the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University. While in this position Kaycee has assistant directed Jagged Little Pill on Broadway and WILD at the A.R.T. She has had the pleasure of working with industry legends such as Diane Paulus, Idina Menzel, V (formally Eve Ensler), Javier Muñoz, and others.

“Kaycee views theater as a form of artistic protest that has the ability to affect the hearts and minds of theater goers everywhere. She has a dedication to new work and revitalized classics to help invoke change in her community.”
